Rob- Quit looking for excuses to continue being a ski bum. Pretty soon you have to join the real world like the rest of us. Stinks, but that's life.

Hi Rob! Good pics. Looks like you had a good time. So happy you found a job I think you'll enjoy this summer. Sorry you had to say goodbye to a certain someone. I'm sure time will pass more quickly than you imagine. Seems to do that the older you get! You'll find that out sooner or later if you haven't already. Looking forward to seeing you in person sometime this summer. Take care and don't get run over by any jeeps these few weeks you're at the golf course. Love, Mom

Hi Robby (Probably should call you Rob sorry your still Robby to me),
Your are an amazing writer!! I love this journal and I'm so glad you included us on your list. Keep up the good work. If you have the time and want some "family" time come on down for Thanksgiving for that fact, anytime you are welcome to come for a visit. Love Aunt Ali

Nicki - 18th August, 2005
Hey, I have a job for you that i think you would love. You should just start writing a book about your experiences in Aspen. I just read your last entry and it already sounds like a chapter in a book. You are an amazing writer and you would still get to do all of the things you love. Think about it. I wish i could have seen more of you when you were home, but stuff happens. I think i might try and make a visit out to see you sometime this year. i would also love to take up hiking, but for some reason i can see you laughing at that. oh well...i might try it anyways. miss ya lots...Nicki

Who new that you were such a great writer!! It's nice to hear that Snowmass is having a great summer and I am glad at least one of us is able to enjoy it. Admittedly so, I do miss the meandering bears and the random foxes (for some reason Atlanta doesn't have those things...uhm). I do wonder what the future holds for you. Surely, whatever it is it can't beat the mountains. I love reading your stories. Take care, Jamie

Mom - 29th June, 2005
Okay Rob, gotcha, I will cease and desist my barrage of job ideas that I've been sending you. I get it now. Looking forward to seeing you soon. Stay away from runaway vehicles and stay safe. Love, Mom

Adam - 1st June, 2005
Hey Rob, you forgot a few snippets about our trip. I can't recall exactly, or maybe I can. But I think a Santa Claus hat, a fire extinguisher, and a hotel maintenance closet were involved. Then there's the episode of mounting the prospector. Maybe you wished for these incidents to remain unpublished. Oops.

Mom - 22nd May, 2005
Hey Rob- Good to see a new message on here, at least we know you're still alive. I guess I'd be one of those people to say that was a dumb and risky stunt, but you're only young once. As long as you were willing to take your lumps if caught I guess that's all I can ask. Hopefully you don't do a lot of dumb, risky things like that......and if you do, I don't want to know!!! Mack will be so glad to see the pics you posted. As I'm sure you know, she's been asking daily when you're going to put them on. So, thank you, now I can stop hearing about it!!! Take care, talk to you soon. Love, Mom

ROBB - 24th April, 2005

Rob, About finding time to see everyone. Grandma abram told me that when you get older the only times you see your old friends is at weddings and funerals. So get a suit and enjoy the weddings. Dad

Rob, I was glad to hear you fought off the nasty flu bug and I look forward to your next update. If you get tired of following your dreams, just ask them where they are going, and tell them you'll catch up to them later! Just some unsolicited advise from someone who's been there!! Love, Aunt Shelly

Rob, I appreciated your after Christmas update! I was worried you may be alone over the holidays, but see that you had great time with friends and even managed to cook a turkey -- now I know you will survive, no matter what! Carry on and keep us all informed so that we can pretend to have a life, too. Hope to see you soon. Aunt Shelly
