Hi! I'm Maizy. Thanks for checking out my journal. My hope is to inspire......but if nothing else this provides an ideal way to keep my friends and family updated on my trip. For those of you who don't know me read my first story, "a woman's place is on the road", for a little background(click on 'Latest News' on the menu bar to the left; the stories are listed in reverse chronological order so this one will be at the very bottom). I have also posted information about my route and some general ramblings that are probably only interesting to me( although reading them is better than the alternative if most of you are reading this at work like i suspect ;). Please check back once in awhile, especially after D-Day(departure day). Once i leave, I plan to update the journal every few days with how my trip is going and stories from the road. i don't have a digital camera so pictures will have to wait until i get back. you can leave me messages thru this website by clicking on 'messages' on the menu bar(please note this is a message board so everyone will be able to read them...just FYI). This will be especially welcome once i leave- despite all the fun i'll be having, i will miss you guys. If you're interested in joining me for a part of my trip(Hil? Michelle?), let me know and we'll work out the details. And if you have any information, tips, ideas, etc, please send them my way. All help and input is appreciated -this is a chance of a lifetime and i want to make the most of it.
