Bus vs. tajada vendor.

Coming back from El Progresso the other day I saw the after mat of what a bs can do to an adolescent boy. I didn’t see the impact, thankfully. I was in another bus, parked, and knew something was awry when I saw everybody mover to the starboard side to press their faces against the windows.
A vendor got smacked pretty good by a bus bound for Yoro. After a couple of minutes I went out to the street to see if I could do anything. I nudged my way past the gawkers and saw the boy writhing in pain on the ground. His right thigh was horribly contorted in an unnatural position and a chunk of flesh was ripped from his foot. He was conscious but in incredible pain. A friend was consoling him. People near were either crying, frantic, or indifferent to the horrible scene.
I told his friend to talk to him to prevent him from going into shock. A pickup came and we loaded him into the back for a bumpy ride to the nearest health center. I helped.
The bus that hit him waited for a while and then took off.
