Hi all

Lynette - 23rd August, 2005
Happy Birthday! Girl, you amaze me, I can't imagine doing what you are doing (God bless you) - I am too spolied by modern amenities!

Cassie King - 7th August, 2005
Hey ya Aimee...its been a long long time since MMR and you def seem to be in a completely other world. Hope you are loving the peace corp, cant wait to read more of what you have been doing with your life, and hoping to get your way early next year. Maybe a reunion with Keri too could be loads of fun!:) Well, stay happy and healthy!

Mike & Jan - 13th July, 2005
Hi Aimee,

Jan and I just wanted to say hello and tell you how neat your new "dresser" is.
It is always great to get an update from your Mom and Dad. How are you coping with the mosquito situation. Do you need any lotion?
Let us know if there is anything in particular that you would like.
I do not know if you heard from Beth, but she had a real close call on the road yesterday. A large dump truck approaching from the other direction had a blowout and almost hit her--thank you Guardian Angel!!!
Hope you are doing well!

Love,
Jan & Mike :)

Oh, Aimee, can I relate. My teaching experiences didn't always go the way I planned either. In fact, my junior student teaching grade was only a C. Obviously, not the best teacher going. I wasn't trying to teach sex ed in a foreign language either. We were going to go up to Boone this weekend but found out it was the Highland games and some music festival. Also, Dennis, a tropical storm or hurricane is supposed to be hitting over this weekend so lots and lots of rain and who knows what else. Keep up the good work (leave 'em laughin'). Congrats on the newly revamped digs. Take care.

Aimee, Thanks for the gift, I am enjoying the coffee and using the pot holder, I have some road trips planned in the next week so will listen to the tunes then. I can't wait to see you, Cabo will be a blast. Sounds like you are having a good time teaching, I got a few chuckles as I could picture what was happening. Take care of your self. I love you. Teresa

Hi Aimee Beth told us about your Christmas message and we were delighted to know that the package finally arrived. So sorry to hear about the scabies (yuck!!). Had a great time in Florida with your folks and the rest of the group. We are getting this vacation thing down to an art. Glad you have a place to meet with other pcv's. A great Italian restaurant in Nicaraugua; who would've thunk? Hope your little critters are long gone and all is well.

beth - 20th May, 2005

Hey Scabie Aimee! My mom literally cringed when I told what you'd gotten. You poor thing - I hope the remedy is working, and the buggers are not tunneling and there's no more itching! Yuck. We missed you so much over the weekend - our back to freshmen year par-tay was fantastic, and D and I did a toast in your honor. Sadly, no one ate our jello shots, and everyone brought their own beer and wine, so it ended up being a grown-up shindig after all! Who knew? Hope all is well in the turmoil-filled country down there. DC's still nice and cool but some strange bout of luck that's bound to end soon, though everything's still yellow from the pollen. Miss you and love you and stay safe! Scott and D send their hellos. Love Kel

beth - 15th May, 2005
uummm... that was supposed to say "i love you AND miss you.."
not "nad".

beth - 15th May, 2005

always, beth

Kelly and Danielle - 9th April, 2005
Hey Aims! Kelly and Danielle here. We miss you tons! Your ears might be burning - we were talking about you last night, as we wandered the streets of suburban Alexandria, curb-shopping near your old home, 11A, on Chapman. But we couldnt remember the right street, and Scott and Dan thought we were crazy, though D and I assured them that you and Matt Kays showed us the secrets to taking other peoples trash. Cherry blossoms are blooming like crazy up here - its beautiful, and the weather's magnificent! D takes her graduate exam next week, so cross your fingers! Otherwise life is good - your pictures were wonderful! Amazing how similar it is to where my cousin lives in Sayulita, Mexico. We think you look fantastic with your tan, and we love you much. Be safe and you look so happy in those pictures - we're so proud of you! Love you much, Kelly and D

karen bohr - 21st March, 2005
Great way to keep in touch with all of your friends and relatives. Claire, Anthony and I enjoy the updates and insights on another culture. Hope you enjoy your placement now that your "real" work is to begin--it sounds as though it may get a bit lonely w/o other volunteers close by..hang in there and enjoy your chocolate packages--do they arrive unmelted??

Karen Sullivan - 18th March, 2005
Aimee, are you serious about people coming to visit? how about july? glad to hear you are doing well.
